Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov could all be moved on as Pep Guardiola looks to reshape his squad
Manchester City will release seven players including Yaya Toure and Jesus Navas in the summer, according to AS.
Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov are also said to be allowed to walk away from the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola looks to reshape his squad.
According to AS, all of those deemed surplus to requirements have entered the final six months of their current deals – though Goal understands that Kolarov is, in fact, actually tied down until the summer of 2018.
Guardiola spent big upon his arrival in the Premier League but is looking to clear out the deadwood inherited from Manuel Pellegrini before adding fresh faces to his ranks.
