Toure is staying at Man City, says agent

Earlier in May, Dimitri Seluk claimed the midfielder was “90 per cent certain” to leave the Premier League this summer but now says he is “too important to let go”

Yaya Toure will stay at Manchester City this summer, according to the midfielder’s agent.

The midfielder is one of the players expected to be sold in City’s major squad overhaul this summer and former Blues boss Roberto Mancini has said he would like to reunite with him at Inter this summer.

And earlier this month, Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, claimed the Ivorian, who has made 29 Premier League appearances for City this term, was “90 per cent certain” to leave at the end of the season.

But on Monday, Seluk told Sky Sports News that City have informed him that Toure is “too important to let go”.

Toure still has two years remaining on his current deal with City, which is worth around €300,000 a week.
