Manchester City are keen to offload the midfielder in the summer with a reunion with former boss Roberto Mancini at the San Siro on the cards, says the Ivorian’s representative
Yaya Toure is in talks over a move to Inter with Manchester City keen to offload the midfielder in the summer, according to the player’s agent.
The Ivory Coast international has played a pivotal role in the Citizens becoming a force in recent years, but has looked a shadow of his former self this season by continually struggling for form.
Toure, who has just one year remaining on his current contract, has been widely tipped to leave the Premier League for Inter, which would see him reunited with former City boss Roberto Mancini at the San Siro.
And now the 33-year-old’s representative, Dimitry Seluk, has fuelled speculation his client could sign for the Nerazzurri after claiming negotiations have started after City told him they are willing to sell.
Seluk told calciomercato.it: “It’s true, we’re talking with Mancini.
“We’re looking for a solution with Manchester City, who want to sell Yaya Toure only up front, not on loan.

“I can’t say if there are other teams interested. He has a contract, but nothing special. Inter? It’s a good club.”
Mancini revealed last week that Serie A has never seen a player like Toure, hinting that he is interested in bringing the ex-Monaco and Barcelona man to Inter.
Seluk announced on Tuesday that Toure’s future should be decided in the next 10 days.
